After running these programs; I found it easier to fix my problem with the latter one-Registry Easy, although Registry Fix can fix many errors as well. Its confusing options might be more appropriate for those well-experienced.
Being informed that the software’s 100% guarantee, I decided to try its full version.
The program found over 1600 errors, it fixed those. So I went on even further with Registry Easy, by using the function of Evidence Cleaner, the Junk File Cleaner, and the Duplicate cleaner…
Two weeks later with twice fixing a week, I check my CPU usage, it reduced to 40% which really gives me a big relief to know my computer is that much faster.
It is a good start.
I reckon that I will keep Registry Easy to help me improve computer’s performance.

over and above registry cleaning. These 12 Advanced Options include IE
repairs, ActiveX blocking, memory optimization, system restore, disc
cleaner, error repair util, and so on.The program has a small footprint
for installation and memory usage. It downloaded and installed without a
problem, registration was fast and easy.Yes there are several other
regcleaner utils out and around, but this one is well-rounded with all
the additional features it includes and for that I give it a positive
endorsement. I used a number of the Advanced Utils just to get a feel
for the program, it seems to work reasonably quickly when running the
various system checks. Nicely coded, small and still able to be
flexible.

Mike Todd - Great piece of software ! Just remember to have:a new “system
restore point”- a backup on an external drive (the program already got
an internal registry backup)more then one “user account”: best of all
(yet memory-expensive solution) synchronize your accont with a new one
(leaving some hours gap) the second account will be the clone of the
first one.
Frank - I used ccleaner a freeware alternative to registry-easy. I found
2 registry problems using that, then straight after I used
Registry-easy and found over 620 problems that could be repaired. Great
piece of software with loads of extra useful tools.

mimrah - Brilliant. Found 850 errors. Hit repair button and bootup time
now has gone from 130 seconds to 18 seconds. A must for everyone.
Allen Carey - After installing it on this machine and purposely mocking some
things up to see how the program would handle that, I’ve become more
impressed.It’s not perfece two of the items in the start-menu’s start-up
folder dissapear, but a restore from the backup fixed that) but it does
a great job.It did speed up rtime from 4 minutes and some seconds to 2
minutes and some seconds (close to 3 minutes), by getting rid of a pile
of hard-to-find clutter left by old software.

this.That is how much I believe in Registry Easy.
I tried it, I liked it. So I decided to try it's full version.I have to say, I have tried a bunch of other so called Registry mechanics or fixers.
None can compare to Registry Easy.
I am not one to trust anything that sounds too good to be true.So I checked into every file that an error was found in. I even scanned the Registry Program with anti virus software, and an anti adware program.And the results of all these scans?
The Registry Easy program was free of adware, spyware, or any kind of viruses.
So, after checking out the to see if the program was clean, and it was; I then ran the program. After finding over 1200 errors, it fixed those. So I went on even further with Registry Easy, and I used the Evidence Cleaner, the Junk File Cleaner, and the Duplicate cleaner. After cleaning up over a gig of wasted memory, I wanted to make sure everything was ok; Not only were all programs ok. My computer is actually 40% faster than before running the Registry Easy.Since then, I have ran Registry Easy twice a week. Why so much? Well, i download a lot from the net. Plus, I am a person who is not really all that computer savvy.
So I do it to protect my pc. And it gives me a big relief to know my computer is that much faster, and that much more protected.

Thanks for the education on the empty registry
keys...I de-selected them and it got everything repaired with one scan.
Overall, my laptop is much better behaved now and does run faster, so I am very happy. An added bonus, my "system restore" had stopped working. I turned it on and off several times to no avail.
After running registryeasy, system restore is back alive!

some guy - And about the RegistryEasy program, using vista I’ve had some
problems with Vista taking up to much space and memory usage. I had task
managers up before and after using this program looking at my CPU usage
and memory. My CPU usage went from a constant 13% to 3% and my memory
went from 1.43GB to 1.13GB. This program checks more things then most
system clean ups and gives a resuly 10x more effective then optimizing
my computer.
btLyger - RegistryEasy really works well for me. I just ran it on my
Lenovo running Windows Vista Home Premium. It worked without a hitch. It
even caught a lot that my other free registry missed. I am very happy
with this application.

restore point, via windows, then using the programs own back up
facility as well as creating your own registry back up (explained below)
you’ll have three safety nets ‘just in case’ something that is needed
‘is’ deleted. Not only does this program clean your registry it does a
lot more (click on advanced options) and because it’s such an all round
program, will enable you to uninstall all those other programs such
other registry cleaners, disc cleaners and other programs that optimises
your computer, thus reducing the load on your registry/discs.The

Opinion Easy - Great program! It helped find quite a few legit errors on my Win
XP SP2 system. Upon invoking the suggested repairs, my computer’s boot
up sped has improved immensely. I highly recommend this program.
